After playing Mekka Hornet for 20 minutes i thought the game was good for a top down shooter.The character was cleverly designed and that the enemies were good too. I thought the environment was good to think that the sky would be a good environment for a game about insects. I thought the final boss was hard because it fired missiles but that was because i only had played the game for 20 minutes and not longer. The game reminds me of something you would play on an old generation console like the playstation 1 or the Sega mega drive something in that era .
The genre - The genre was a top down shooter i would also say it was an action game because so much is going on with the enemies and bullets.
Gut Instinct - My gut instinct when i played this game was that if i played it any longer it could of got very addictive very easily.
Content - The environment of the game is very well created the character was easy to use and used good animation for a hornet, The enemies were good and they got harder the more you advanced into the level until you reached the final boss.
Construction - The build tot the game is very good i would say, The controls were difficult to use at first then they started to get easy. I think the game had a bit of a challenge because you had to get through the waves of enemies without getting killed with only little amount of health supplied.
